Presentation: A Business Analysts Guide to Benefits
It is generally accepted that change should deliver benefits – why else change? However, benefits management and realisation activities are often an afterthought and/or are performed separate to the planning and management of a project or change initiative. This is when benefits management becomes an overhead. Instead, benefits should be a foundation for planning and managing change.
This presentation will cover:
• how benefits relate to business needs, business change, and business objectives
• techniques to support the discovery, analysis and organisation of benefits
• using benefits to plan, manage, and communicate change, and
• realising benefits.
